On October 26th, Brother Knights joined with various St. Charles church ministries to host the First Annual Trunk or Treat for the community. The event featured approximately 30 decorated trunks, each handing out candy and treats to an estimated 500 visitors who stopped by throughout the evening.
Among the many creative displays, Jamie and Tony Tomplait’s vehicle stood out with a nostalgic Charlie Brown and the Great Pumpkin theme, bringing smiles to children and adults alike. The parking lot was filled with laughter and excitement as children showed off their costumes, and even a few adults joined in the fun by dressing up.
The Knights and ministries extend their heartfelt thanks to everyone who helped make the evening a success, including the Nederland Police Department for providing security during the event.
The council looks forward to building on this success and making next year’s Trunk or Treat even bigger and better.
