Nederland Knights of Columbus Council 5145 Announces Mid-County Madness Football Squares Fundraiser

Football season is quickly approaching, and excitement is already building for the annual Mid-County Madness rivalry game set for October 23, 2026, at The Reservation in Port Neches. In conjunction with one of Southeast Texas’ most anticipated football matchups, the Nederland Knights of Columbus Council 5145 will once again host its popular Football Squares Fundraiser.

The fundraiser helps support the council’s charitable outreach programs and community service efforts throughout the area. Proceeds from the event will go directly toward assisting local families, youth programs, and other charitable initiatives supported by Council 5145.

Football squares are available for $20 each, with a total of $1,000 in prize payouts throughout the game.

Prize payouts include:

1st Quarter — $225

2nd Quarter — $225

3rd Quarter — $225

Final Score — $325

Community members interested in purchasing squares can contact Tony or Jamie Tomplait at 409-549-8496 or reach out through the council’s Facebook page.

The council accepts cash, checks, credit cards, and Venmo payments through @kc5145.

Support a great cause while adding even more excitement to one of the biggest football games of the season. Squares are limited and are expected to sell quickly.
