The Nederland Knights of Columbus Council #5145 invites community members, golfers, and local businesses to join them for their annual 2026 Golf Gala on Saturday, October 10th, at the Babe Zaharias Golf Course in Port Arthur. The tournament begins with an 8:00 AM shotgun start and promises a fun and charitable day on the green.
This year’s event will follow a 4-person scramble format, allowing golfers to form their own teams or be paired with others. There are 2 types of player registrations to choose from. The first, is a 4-person team at $400. The Second, is a 4-person team w/ hole sponsorship at $475. All registrations include green fees, cart, lunch, cold beverages and 2 mulligans per player.
Proceeds benefit the American Wheelchair Foundation and Council 5145's scholarship fund.
In addition to player registration, sponsorship opportunities are available. A Level I sponsorship for $100, includes a personalized hole sign on the course and recognition at the event. You may also choose a Level II sponsorship, which gives you a hole sign plus player registraion for all 4 players and 8 mulligans (2 per person) at $475. Contributions can also be made in designated sponsorship tiers, and all proceeds support the Knights’ charitable efforts.
